Marketing & Communications Executive, China (Shanghai based)
MISSIONS
- Perform marketing & communication activities for the China market under the supervision and guidance of the Central Team in Paris and report directly to the Marketing & Communications Director, APAC (or Marketing & Communications Manager, China when in place);
- Manage trade marketing on behalf of the central team in connection with Brand DNA, Partners goals and partners assets, focusing on product launches and key moments to maximize brand visibility and relevance;
- Ensure all partners and distributors understand adhere to our brand guidelines and strategy in the region;
- Identify best practices and benchmarks to help shape guidelines and trade marketing strategy for the brand at a central level;
- Work closely with the Partner Management Team and external partners to align on sales objectives, new POS opening etc., in line with Devialet Group strategies;
- Yearly assess on partners’ marketing and communication execution;
- Provision of support for partners, cover:
- Requests of assets;
- Instore animations, displays, catalogues;
- Customer outreach through malls’ / partners’ communications, which includes displays, digital campaigns, DM – EDM, social media.
- Day to day execution of China social media platforms in collaboration with our dedicated partners and the relevant members especially your Supervisor;
- Work closely with other internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations;
- Assist in ad-hoc projects (events especially) and assignments when required;
- Contribute to budget follow up, and adequate reporting tools;
- Some travels will occur within China.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline;
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Marketing Communications;
- Excellent verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills;
- Good command of both written and spoken Mandarin and English;
- Creative and sensitive to brand positioning;
- Proactive and passionate to cope with a versatile and fast-paced environment;
- Strong organizational and operational skills;
- Be knowledgeable of the distribution environment;
- Commercial awareness;
- Ability to break down barriers and facilitate cross functional collaboration;
- Team player attitude;
- Proactive in proposing improvements/suggestions;
- Independent;
- Willingness to travel when required;
- Agency background will be an added advantage.
