Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become a global wealth manager with USD1.4 trillion in assets. Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for finance and accouting operations of JS Branch independently.
  • Implement and monitor financial control policies and procedure in Branch in accordance with guideline issued by Head Office.
  • Represent the key liaison person from Finance in establishing and enhancing relationship with regulating bodies in Suzhou.
  • Regularly review and improve internal control and the compliance of procedures.
  • Improve work procedures and methods by creative thought for cost control and efficiency enhancement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing ande reporting and tax filing.
  • Be able to explain financial performance for the the branch.
  • Deliver support to branch GM for the ad-hoc tasks.
  • Carry out duties and tasks assigned by head office.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by line manager.
Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years financial experience in insurance brokerage company, solid knowledge in Fund Sales is deemed as a plus
  • Good understanding of PRC GAAP, IFRS, taxation rgulations
  • CICPA or AMAC (基金从业资格) is preferred
  • Have strong problem solving skill, core system project experience is preferred.
  • Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and changing priorities
  • Excellent team player, able to lead others into action, and with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Self-motivation.
